From Shenzhen startup to global solar storage manufacturer

SunStone Energy was founded in 2016 by a team of battery engineers and renewable energy veterans in Shenzhen, China — the world's manufacturing and innovation hub.

Starting with portable power stations for outdoor and emergency markets, we quickly expanded into balcony and household energy storage as the European market boomed. Today we serve 30+ countries through 15+ B2B partnerships, offering OEM, white-label, and exclusive distribution programs.

Our factory spans 10,000+ sqm with automated production lines, in-house R&D, and strict quality control. Every product is LiFePO4-based with full EU/US certifications.

📅 Company Timeline

Our journey from concept to global manufacturer

2016

Founded in Shenzhen by battery engineers. First portable power station developed and tested.

2017

First B2B order from German distributor. CE and UN38.3 certifications obtained.

2018

Factory expanded to 5,000 sqm. Monthly capacity reached 2,000 units. UKCA certification added.

2019

Launched balcony ESS-2000 product line. VDE certification obtained. Entered NL, FR, and AU markets.

2020

Household ESS-10000 launched. UL certification for US market. Factory expanded to 10,000 sqm.

2021-22

Rotterdam and Los Angeles warehouses established. 5,000+ units shipped cumulative. R&D team grew to 12 engineers.

2023

15+ active B2B partnerships across EU, US, AU, and SEA markets. Exclusive distribution in DE and NL.

2024-25

New product generation with improved energy density. APP platform v2. Sydney warehouse opened. 30+ countries served.
